Leaf me alone

Something happened to my walking boots. They went from feeling like slippers when I first got them to lumps of concrete of late. New ones arrived yesterday and I'd a spring in my step today (if not a little achy in the jaw department). Me and the dog had a wonderful stride out in the woods. She didn't even wear her boots (or take a key or any money or even a camera, what an odd dog).
