Mid Summer

Our back garden at mid summer just as the rain began to fall.
Note the forked stick? It looks like it will be needed very soon to prop up the drooping branches of that heavily laden apple tree.

It looks like I will be on the missing list again for a few days. The Finns take the whole mid summer thing very seriously and we are off to join some of them for the rest of the week. Not sure about the internet connection up North. We have a 5 hour train journey ahead of us to get there and that's not even half way up the map.
