A morning painting

I was lucky enough to be allowed to paint in this glorious garden today.  In the middle of a town it is always surprising to come across such huge and varied gardens.  This one was long and thin and sloping up and away from the house... on either side of the path were delightful seating areas each with their own character and with their own vista.  Right at the top was a productive veg patch with green house and a lovely seat behind the box ball in the focal point of my photo looking back down the length of the garden.  It was a little cool out today especially considering it is the longest day of summer.. oh no! not already!
Now for supper in the garden and to watch the sun set..
