A first

I have never made a collage before so this is my first attempt in order to share some of the special plants in my garden that are in flower today.  The longest day.. and colourful and warm... lovely way to end the week.  Hopefully tomorrow will also be sunny and warm.  I tried painting the poppies today but as l was standing there drawing two of them shed their leaves.. ah well.. they are a fleeting thing.  Lovely to see the real bee (rather than a bumble) on the Johnsons blue geranium.  These plants have been in our garden for 25 years.. and l still love them.  The scent from the philadelphus is glorious.. and better still at night... think l must head out to have a sniff!
