Willow, pond, duck
No matter how much fun it might seem to be somewhere like Guernsey on a lovely summer day the reality is that during most such visits there is never any time for anything but the purpose of the visit itself - in this case attending a meeting of the JMC this morning, followed quickly by the Britiish Irish Counci Plenary interspersed with various media interviews and bi-lateral discussiom with Ministers from other jurisdictions.
However this morning I did get half an hour to wander round the little lake at the St Pierre Park Hotel , the fountain in which I blipped yesterday.
A willow at one end was sheltering ducks and filtering the sunlight. It was lovely.
