Brave flower

Of my two courgette plants, the smallest threw out the first flower today! I noticed it whilst cooling off from a leg aching run first thing.
Poet Girl and her boyfriend have been around all day and it’s been nice to have their company between jobs. They eventually left for the afternoon but we met up later for tea in the pub in town. Home via The Olds who didn’t mind the interruption because we had their granddaughter in tow!
