Midsummer’s Eve

The official one which is a bank holiday. Everyone at home; the biggest holiday in Sweden; dancing round the Maypole etc.
With perfect timing seven weeks of sun comes to an end. The rain buckets down, the wind blows, and the temperature drops to 14 C.
So we’ll celebrate indoors with Lasse and Annika and Monya the dog. Good food, home-baked bread (Lasse), herring and salmon prepared by Annika, woked veg and peach+rhubarb crumble from us.
One vegetarian, one vegan and two omnivores so it’ll be a varied table. Did I mention wine and schnapps?
