Out for a walk

A lunchtime stop at Tockholes Cafe was to be included in this walk. Our start was somewhat delayed so we decided to walk first and lunch a bit later.
The walk was lovely, as was the company as we were joined by Peter and Polly and their collie.  Here is a section that follows a drover's road, where I was told horses and donkeys carted stone; sounds a tough life.
Eventually arrived at the cafe to find we were too late - the kitchen had closed. We could have cake and a hot drink so that's what we did. This is the second time this has happened so I'm going to have to drive us out a little earlier if I'm ever to really enjoy the northern cuisine!
