Alarming hazard warning
M came home yesterday with L to take C’s mini for a trip to Cornwall.
So, this morning, C had to take the TT to go swimming.
She rang me to say that the hazard warning lights were on and that they wouldn’t turn off. I said to drive home and I’d take a look. She had managed to push the switch into the dashboard so I had to dismantle it a bit to get it back. But the switch worked perfectly.
The next day, tomorrow (!) the same thing happened but the lights stopped when she started the car.
Turns out she was opening the car with the key rather than the remote and, when she didn’t start the engine within a couple of minutes, the alarm went off (silently). So the lights were the alarm rather than hazard warnings.
Come back soon, M!
