Honeycomb Sky
The sky was beautiful this morning - golden contrails lighting the skies like torches to herald in the day. I caught rushed captures of it from the bedroom window, and managed to get some photo's of the exact same contrails that my good blipfriend Earthdreamer captured so beautifully.
After breakfast I had a few minutes before leaving for the train so I popped upstairs and saw that the contrails were dispersing leaving behind a fascinating criss-cross pattern with gorgeous hook wisps, dark edges, bright colours reflecting the rising sun.
These scenes are so fleeting, the colours change in seconds, clouds producing sky paintings that are never the same, and I never tire of watching them. I just wish I had more time to do it!
