Sizergh Castle and Grounds

A bright, sunny day

Today we visited Sizergh Castle and the Grounds. Every thing was well kept and spectacular. Most of the Castle goes back to the 17th Century but some parts are even older. It had been in the hands of the Strickland Family until 1950 when it was donated to the National Trust who have done a superb job in maintaining it.
