Coast!

I'm once again in this beautiful setting, but this time on foot. We walked from Beachy Head to Birling Gap, about a six mile ramble. In the far distance you can see the Seven Sisters cliffs. Before that is the Belle Tout lighthouse, now a (rather expensive) b&b. It was moved back from the cliff about 40m in 1999. Ithink in another 20 years it might have to go again! Amazingly, and despite regular warnings / signs etc, and more than the odd tragedy, you can still see people standing on the very edge of the clifftop. I wouldn't go within 10 yards - they're just so fragile and precarious.
