Waterfront Festival

This afternoon my daughter and I headed down to the Waterfront Festival by the Royal Armouries. She ran into two of her friends, and I came across my cousin and his girlfriend. It was very busy, but unusual to run into so many people we knew. 

There were people dressed up, as this guy was. He was showing people how to prime a cannon. Then there were the races themselves; this may be 'for fun', but its highly competitive fun. Some of the races were very close.
