Warming up

The perfect morning for a woodland walk. I’d slept awkwardly so I headed off briskly and early.

I was richly rewarded.
Meadow Browns in abundance. Even the tree creeper (extra).
Light and shade to enchant any painter.

A lovely warm up - a good omen for the big match ?
