Agonoscelis versicolora (Sunflower Seed Bug)

Never realised how beautiful they actually are, thanks Blipfoto, for making me look at things with different eyes lately!

I used to see them as bugs which were quite a nuisance, as soon as you touched them, they excrete a nasty smelling substance, like almond, just verrrry strong, you could smell it for a long time after the bug was thrown out of the house, but today I looked 'deeper' and saw the beautiful colours on it's back, as well as the 'cloak' it wears around the shoulders, and those pretty two eyes, checking me out, because he is most definitely scared of me, and not ready to 'attack' me, as I believed until recently!
