Pollinator at work

There are brambles just over the fence and they are now in flower. The flowers have brought the busy bees. When the roofers were here last week they patch pointed one of our chimneys, they said it was damaged by masonry bees. The brambles are on the edge of 'the dell', an ancient marl pit. There are huge trees growing down there, and this evening the tops of the trees were catching the sun at our eye level. (See extra)
