Limni Beach

As it was a sunny day today we set off early to find the correct Limni Beach. This time we followed the right turnoff through the olive groves. What a beautiful site as we stepped out through the woodland. There is a small spit of fine pepples with bays on either side. We were the first to arrive and enjoyed the quiet scene. Slowly more people arrived by boat or foot. The water was beautiful for swimming although the small boats that arrived tended to stay just off the shore so you found yourself swimming around them.

A nice walk back for a late lunch then our last meal out. I do so like the aubergine dip they do here, l could eat it forever. It never tastes the same at home maybe it is to do with the lovely lemons. So a meal including the dip, fava beans and then sea bream great.
