Ship shape

We are travelling home today so l chose this shot of a ship shaped accomodation and taverna maybe, with derelict remains in foreground.

To me it sums up Corfu which has been a tourist destination for so many years. We both visited independently in the 70's. Now you can see the decaying remains of earlier accommodation and taverna mixed with lots of very new villas and apartments all with their swimming pools and air conditioning. So many tourists, we chose well not to feel swamped and to find quiet areas to visit and walk to.

Now to find the sun back home where it's apparently hotter than here. Certainly dryer than here.
