Up early...

...and all headed in different directions today.

The Rooster was rowing in Dumfries at the Nithsdale Regatta today. So that was a 5am rise for MrR and him. Kept the wee fellla snoozing a bit longer and woke him just before they all had to leave at 6am. The Rooster has put some cereal in a bowl for him to eat in the car.

The Buncle and I were heading to Perth for the Scots Independent Newspaper Annual Lunch and Oliver Brown Award Presentation. This year it was awarded to Lesley Riddoch.

So a quick run for me to complete the Fitbit and Strava challenge I took up this week...run 26.2 miles in a week, yoga, breakfast, shower...keep shouting at Buncle to focus so we can get out the door. We did head out the door for the 11:09 to Perth.

That boy locks himself in that wee lounge with his Xbox and when he does surface he is good company and has good chat...wish he would dish the xBox more often. His accompanying me was my way of making him do that but he did say to me he had enjoyed the afternoon:-)

Home and back to some dishes and tidying up.

The rowers returned around 7.30pm. The Club won quite a number of medals and the Rooster and his crew came 1st in the Junior 14 coxed 4.

Shortly before the rowers returned Es walked through the door from work around 7pm...I was about to send a search party for her as she was suppose to finish round 6pm...they had been late getting out the shop.

Threw some pizzas in the oven, opened a bottle of wine and put on some Madame Secretary...now chill!

Grateful to have us all home after a busy day.
