What a scorcher...

...took the yoga mat outside this morning, it was glorious.

Then had breakfast outside.

There was a strong desire to forget the Fitbit steps today but decided on mackerel, beetroot and orange salad for dinner and that required watercress. Lidl five minutes from door does not sell watercress so we walked to M&S in town and then took a stroll round the Kings Park and then the back road home...so steps target was met in considerable heat.

Dinner was not outside but could have been if we’d had been bothered to take it there.

After dinner a Weim walk in the cooler evening and a trip to the allotment to water the wee plants.

Home and an early-ish night. Heading into the last week of school term for the boys and boy do we know it. Just need to get them over the finish line now.

Grateful for a gloriously sunny day and especially that outside yoga this morning.
