Sparrowhawks beady eye
I’ve seen the Sparrowhawk a few times recently and pretty sure saw a fledgling calling and crying over head which means there are some hungry mouths to feed.Today he sat on the garden fence and although the little birds were lucky this time I have seen him carry away a catch or two previously so now keeping an eye and if he comes to many times I will take the feeders down or move them to somewhere else.
A beautiful day and hot too. Mike worked on the decking getting abit closer to the top of the garden. We had a break to watch the exciting England match and at last a ref punished the players that were holding on in the goal area.
We watched the next Jumanji film which was funny so a good way to end the day.
Not sure what the row of bees are up to in the extra, there were three of them. The other extra is one of the young robins.
