Alstroemeria flower

What a chance it was last night arriving from Greece into the UK to find it hotter back home.  So an amazingly sunny hot day, one for pottering around and generally sorting things out.  A visit to the allotment revealed that my friend had been tending the ploy very well and even the small seedlings had survived.  A few courgettes were picked along with lots of spinach and even a few small strawberries.  These Alstromeria flowers are growing well on the plat so I picked a few for indoors.

Later it was the local book club, we had been reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine, a very humorous and interesting book.
