Big Orange Flower - perennial, semi-wild,

In yesterday's blip I mentioned the summer contrast between sun and shadow. After another sweaty day of work around and in the new kayak tent we returned from a quick swim and I saw this lily growing among the trees on the edge of our garden. Everything around it was in deepest shadow but a ray of sunshine was lighting up part of the flower. I went over and ran off some macro shots, of which this was the one I liked the most.
If anyone knows what these flowers are called in English I'd be happy to know. (The picture in the extra shows more of the stem and leaves if that helps with identification.)
