Chippenham (Monday 25th June 2018)

I was in Chippenham today to pick up a pair of glasses so I walked in through Monkton Park alongside the River Avon, where I saw these two swans. These are the first I have seen since June 5th! I saw one more beside the town bridge, being fed.

I did prepare a version for Mono Monday but it didn't fit the optional theme of Power and I anyway decided I preferred the colour rendition, so I have put it in Extras.

Fifty years ago today the Pink Floyd recorded this early version of what became the title track of their second album, although it then had the working title of The Massed Gadgets Of Hercules.
