Hirsel Country Park

Home of the Douglas Hume family - and on my doorstep.

Had to retrieve a camera from here today. I enjoyed a slow and savouring drive through the beautiful trees and hedges and revelled in the peace and solitude.

Before and after the drive, life was action packed, filled with meetings and intensity and where everyone around me is stressed and busy.

2 sides of the same life...am thinking I'm on the wrong side...and suspect I'm not alone!
