Bul bul

It's been a damp and humid day.  We went out in search of something really simple, cotton.  A button has come off hubby's shorts and sewing it back on should be a simple task, but I needed black cotton.   We went to a rather large shop in town that specializes in wool and craft goods, it even has a few sewing machines.  However, they had no reels of black or white cotton and didn't seem to want to help.  So we came home and went into the local stationery shop and lo and behold they had a variety of cottons and advised me of the best ones to buy.  This particular little shop sells everything from wrapping paper to craft goods, it even has wool.  In the future I will try this shop first. 

I really didn't think a shot of reels of cotton would be very interesting so instead I have finally managed to get a shot of a Bul bul.  These are very shy birds and I had to take the shot through the window, so it's not very clear.
