An old friend..
Back when I was a child there were many companies running different bus routes; Guernsey Motors, Guersey Railwat, Blye Bird, Paragon, Wayfairer and “The Greys”. And as you might guess this is one of the Greys. Many of the companies amalgamed or were bought out but The Greys survived as an independent for years.
I believe that they were the only buses on the island that didn’t have governors on their engines to restrict their speeds. But they didn’t need it; a snail could overtake them without rushing!
Now a tour bus. It probably has an immaculate interior but it may well be a bit of a rough unsprung ride.
