Wild orchid...

.. We're all a bit wild in this heat.

I was lauding benefits of blipping yesterday, to a fellow 'loves doing it but sometimes it's too time-consuming' blipper.
We were extolling, amongst other happinesses, the 'aide memoire' joys of photography generally.
How easy it is to recall an entire day (sights, scents, touch, tastes) even with just one photograph to look back upon.

This orchid will probably remind me forever of the day we were joined unexpectedly in the kitchen by the Large Wandering Canine (of 'Hello! It Is Me Wot Eats The Food Compost' fame). 
I say 'unexpectedly', but Himself (who spilled his coffee at the arrival) might choose a different word!
Well. We had the back door open. It's warm isn't it? What can you do?
