Accrington Eco Station.

I had enjoyed a shopping trip to Accrington this morning and then volunteering at One Planet shop, pricing products and serving customers.
The Christmas window at the shop looks colourful and inviting.
On my way home I had a few minutes before the train arrived , so I took some quick blips of the station. It is an Eco station which means they are efficent with energy use.
It is small but well upkept, good clear clean signage and no sign of any litter.
They also have a green group who grow edibles in planters on the platforms.
This includes cabbages, herbs and marigolds, that are still flowering in the cold November weather.
