end of the road

On the road from Uig, D found a band in need of a drummer. he jammed with them for a while but wasn't impressed, so we moved on. 

Three beautiful beaches this morning, a return visit to Callanish and a really good exhibition in a community centre at Breasclete about the Flannan Isles and the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers in December 1900.

Then we headed north, to Ness and then the Butt of Lewis, where we spent a few hours enjoying the evening sunshine. (see extras).

Can't go any further north now - that's the end of the road. Tomorrow we will catch the early ferry to Ullapool and back home...
