Loule, Algarve

Loule, a town near Faro, was one of the towns we visited today along with Tavira. It was a bustling town with a beautiful centre including a covered market selling fruit, vegetables and other delicacies. What was quite striking and very welcome given the hot temperatures, were the narrow streets that were adorned with awnings draped across in colourful primary colours. Attractive but also very practical.
We hear the UK is going through an unprecedented heatwave with temperatures even hotter than the Algarve. Surreal!
