Surface Serenity

I chose this blip because it sums me up today - calm and serene on the surface whist whirring and churning underneath. I have been like a cat on hot bricks today, ( I decided this would not make an appropriate blip and I haven't got any hot bricks any way ;-)) expecting that my dad would be having his op this morning. I distracted myself with my photography group meeting and afterwards went to the country park. When I eventually got home I phoned the hospital with baited breath and was told the op had been posponed until tomorrow afternoon, more agony! I am having to keep it together for my mum who is struggling with anxiety but really we are as bad as eachother. I'm fine while I am distracted with my photography, but I can't do it all the time. I just hope this will all be over soon, I don't think my nerves can take much more and my camera's battery needs recharging :-)
