Will's walking on ice, building's on fire
Walking through Trafalgar Square to get to the theatre with Will. This evening's choice was Entertaining Mr Sloane - a bit of Joe Orton to get through the big freeze that's knocked London for six.
I'm still getting to grips with this whole 'take a picture a day' concept, but I'm trying to get something regardless of how blurry or fuzzy or plain it is. And regardless of what setting I've accidentally switched on and now have no idea how to change. Saw a child's shoe just lying in the snow, it was black patent and so curious lying there all on its own, but I didn't want to be late for work and couldn't stop to take a picture. I know it would have only taken seconds, but I was in the commuting zone - no time to stop! Still, I'm surprised by how much more I'm looking around at life...
Anyway, as it is, as Will walked on, cautiously on the icy ground and I liked the fact that the buildings all emanated a sense of warmth from within while we shivered on towards our destination.
Oh, and the play was pretty good, too. Funny and disturbing, Joe Orton style.
