Sun trap

At the back of the house we have this sun trap.

In the summer months it is good to sit on the balcony and read a book.

In the spring there are plenty of wee dookits under the stairs to shelter in while enjoying the sun. Just out of shot and to the left of the stairs there is an archway and stone seat carved into the wall. (a future blip maybe!)

Today it is swathed in shadows and there is nobody around to enjoy it but me.
