I thought I had been successful in trying to have a quiet day, but now I look back at my photos I think I was actually quietly busy!
So here we have the Firth of Forth taken from Lauriston Castle grounds.  The extra is of Lauriston Castle gardens which were looking great on this hot day.  The other extra is of one of the two wood pigeon chicks which are at present in the nest in our Hawthorn tree, I think they will be leaving shortly.  We have quite enjoyed observing the whole nesting process.
 I also managed quite a bit of cooking and a visit to the allotment.
