Winter hill - still...on fire!

  I thought the fires were getting better but that was the part seen from our window.  This evening we had a meal out in a 'Southern Indian Restaurant' in Blackburn with the other grandparents of Little Missy and Grandbaby!  The food was new to me and the subtleties of the different curries were delicious !  On the way back we passed by Winter hill and this is the result of stitching two shots in Photoshop!  You can just see the mast on the thumbnail.  The smoke is as high as the mast and fills the sky!  The extra is a shot taken at midnight last night from the spare room window.  It's taken with the 'handheld night ' setting which takes 3 or 4 shots in quick succession and processes them as one!
