Santa's Train

It's a bit early, but H had a ride on Santa's train outside Braehead shopping centre. She spotted it on the way in and so I promised she could have a ride on it if she was good in the shops. She was mesmerised by the Christmas decorations and lights in the shopping centre. I think it could be a long countdown to Christmas this year!

We had popped in to Braehead after spending a few hours at Gambado soft play at Xscape with my friend R and her little girl A who is ages with H. It was a lovely day and good to catch up with them - A and H played together really well, and the soft play was brilliant - it had a dressing up box, a home corner with kitchen etc, electric go-karts and a sensory baby area, in addition to the usual giant slide etc. When asked what her favourite thing was, H said "the books"! There were books to read in the home corner - clearly it would have been cheaper if I had taken her to the library! She did dress up as a Gruffalo, but wouldn't keep the costume on long enough for a picture.

O is still a bit out of sorts today - his nose was running constantly, and he seemed to be teething badly in the evening. I wonder if it's still his bottom 2, or if it's the top 2 preparing to appear.
