Sunday: Llyn Padarn, Llanberis

Hot and sunny all day.
Noticed that tops of one of the tubs of potatoes have died back so emptied the tub and collected a colander full of nice red potatoes. Used the soil on the other 2 small tubs of potatoes, which will provide a late crop.
We all went for an outing to Llanberis. Our little granddaughter wasn’t interested in the play area so we walked along the edge of Lake Padarn. Lots of people around having picnics and just enjoying the sunshine.
We decided on an early lunch an went to our old favourite “Pete’s Eats”. Walking back to the car our little’un was getting drowsy and after a few minutes of our car journey she was fast asleep. We continued through Beddgelert, Tremadog and home. Quick panad (cup of tea) and I sent the family for a walk to the beach whilst I cooked dinner: steak pie (with GF pastry), veg pie for me, wedges and banana cake also the new potatoes collected earlier.
