Lavender Lovely

We chose the hottest day of the year so far to turn out and tidy the ' Tardis-like ' double cupboard under the sink after finding all sorts of things that had been long forgotten about yesterday when we took everything out for the plumber's visit.
I seem to have a virtually full bottle of every make of spray bathroom cleaner on the market ( I don't like using sprays, so why I bought them in the first place I'm not quite sure), 8 left hand rubber gloves ( I'm right handed and the right hand gloves have worn out ), a large assortment of cleaning sponges, half a bottle of Dettol that went out of date in 1996, 6 packs of ' emergency ' candles costing 14p a pack from Woolies and 34 old toothbrushes were among the more interesting finds ;-))
When we got everything out and lined up on the kitchen worktop hubby made the very risky comment " that's a lot of cleaning stuff for someone who hardly ever cleans.......cheeky beggar!!!"..........it was a very brave thing to say given how hot and grumpy I've been today .............but luckily for him I saw the funny side of it and burst out laughing ;-))
One large dustbin bag filled with rubbish and a reorganisation has left me with more space than I've ever seen under there............I wonder how long it will take me to fill it up again ;-))

I'm now wilting in the heat and hoping it's not going to be too hot to sleep.
