Pebbles - St Bees
We decided to visit St Bees on our way home as we had not been before. The village of St Bees is just south of St Bees Head, the most westerly point of cumbria, and 50 miles from the Scottish border. It is well known for the Norman Priory dating from 1120 for its 400 year school and as the start of the Wainwright "Coast to Coast" walk.
Delightful place and the beach had a welcome breeze in the sunshine. The pebbles on the beach were so pretty that I decided on an abstract for today's blip - edited in topaz.
Hot weather continues.
