White Letter Hairstreak

I've been aware of a dark butterfly flitting round the garden for a few days but as it refused to land I've not been able to see what it was..........well, today it landed.........annoyingly not on something pretty but at least I finally got a shot of it before it was off flitting around again ;-))

Some time ago my doctor retired ( second one I've lost to retirement in five years), so I thought I would go and talk to the new one about my back as it seems to be playing up a lot. She was more sympathetic than the last two and has referred me to musculoskeletal clinic as well as ordering a whole host of blood tests but also suggested I do a bit more walking ( something I haven't been doing much of lately because it's rather uncomfortable) .........I'll give anything a try, but I'm hoping it will cool down a bit out there so I don't get cooked in the process ;-)))
