Food at the Met

Along Fifth Avenue, in front of the Metropolitan Museum. An afternoon outing; we saw two exhibitions. "Painted in Mexico, 1700-1790" (self explanatory), and "Visitors to Versailles (1682-1789)". The latter was huge, with an incredible number of works of all sorts--most from Versailles itself, with others from the Met  and "over fifty other lenders."  Included was an audio guide providing a "3D audio experience"--surround sound to recreate visitors' experiences  (overkill to me).  Supper with our niece Laura.
