Come fly with me

Only a few hours left until we head home from what has been an absolutely wonderful trip. Canada and the Canadian’s have delighted us at every turn - what a beautiful country and what warm, friendly and generous people.

We took a short trip around Vancouver and it’s Islands in a sea plane this morning; a brand new experience for us both, but one that locals use frequently to commute to Vancouver Island, Whistler or Salt Springs. It was a thrill, the weather perfect and the views gorgeous - if you are lucky enough to see a city from that perspective it is always worth it.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Booky and K; we haven’t laughed so much for ages, we’ve seen such beautiful things and I have sort of improved my pool game to boot! Roll on the next trip.....
