For the first time ever in its history, my place of work raised the rainbow flag to celebrate Pride London which happens tomorrow. A small band of the staff who make up the Equality and Diversity Network group (of which I am one) congregated to witness and hear a speech from the Mayor.
It was a red letter day indeed, and all down to a tenacious colleague who’s charm, honesty and determination has made it happen.
