Sweet Meadow

I went to Maldon for a get-together with my sisters and my niece in her dear little house, leaving Ollie dog with MrQ. He heard crunching and discovered Ollie in the act of munching my portable hard drive which contains all my images from the past eight years. Fortunately it still works in spite of the bite marks. 

Not much time for taking pics today but I took Ollie hunting in our meadow as soon as I got home. She loves trying to find rabbits in the long grass as I shoot insects. I got three skipper butterflies in the image before the one above but none were sharp. The pic does give the feel of our meadow and includes a pair of mating red soldier beetles which are everywhere at the moment.
