The Old Days

At Hampton Loade yesterday I bought an old map showing the Milton Keynes and Buckingham area as it was before 1970. What a difference!!!
Milton Keynes village was chosen as the site of the New Town because it's halfway between Oxford and Cambridge east to west, and London and Birmingham north to South.
It's so funny seeing all the villages and farms that have given all the estates their names. Hardly a roundabout in sight!!
Today was a quiet day after our busy weekend. I had planned to empty the camper properly, sort all the laundry, tidy up a bit and catch up on a few Blips.
I mostly sat around doing very little!! 
I did chat to Mrs C and get a camping trip sorted for us all in August. The Little Misses will be giddy to be camping with Mr L and Mr R. It's a lovely site on the River Wy near Hay. Can't wait!!
Rock climbing tonight and Belgium v Japan.
Starting to feel slightly nauseous about England v Colombia tomorrow night!!!
