Ready to serve up

Glad it's the weekend! I stayed put while G was collected by two friends and taken to a service in a church we've only ever heard of but never been to. She came back very excited!

The day has been quiet with a raging sandstorm, in fact, for much of the afternoon, there's been a real yellow hue in the sky. I should have got a picture but there didn't seem much to take a picture of!

G decided to make a biryani for dinner and this is it! Cooked to perfection, I was allowed to get this shot before it was served up. We managed to catch glimpses of the two World Cup matches. Glad neither of them went into extra time!
