Cracking up
I've been feeling a little less stressed in the last couple of weeks. It stands to bloody reason that this is because I'm not on a one-week turnaround between trips to Liberia and South Sudan. It's not rocket science, but I seem to have been scratching my head all year as to why I've felt so knackered.
For a usually damp place, the landscape is very dry at the moment. I'd usually be more likely to encounter cracked dried mud in the African bush, not a meadow in Cambridge. However the high temperatures and associated holiday vibe they present are contributing to the lack of stress. It's hard to feel stressed when lounging in a meadow eating falafel balls.
