Not quite the plan......

I picked her up early after school today .... because it’s the first day of music festival! She started with a piano solo of grade music. This section was in danger of being a disaster as it was a new piece but she did a really good job of it. They only award first and second for small classes in this festival so she didn’t officially get a third place certificate, but she did come third. I was so impressed with her to say she’s had this piece three weeks!

Anyway, afterwards I let her play in the paddling pool. We dried her off, got sorted and had fish & chips. She then went down to the beach. And ended up in the sea. In her pyjamas,

Not quite the plan but she declared it “the absolutely best day ever”.
