Royal Air Force Memorial London

A 1923 memorial dedicated to the memory of those killed in World War I. The light caught my eye this evening as I walked past, and it seems a particularly relevant blip in the run up to Remembrance Day. A nice end to the day - D is much better after several days with a horrible cold during which he just wanted to sleep. Mum is visiting for the weekend and we met her and an old family friend after work for cake from the Real Food Market on the South Bank. D enjoyed the singing lift and running around in the Royal Festival Hall. Have a good weekend all!
